Amber Redbear and Yaa Boaa Aning to Make TV Directorial Debut in 1265 Films’ Upcoming Series Frank

Rising talents Amber Redbear and Yaa Boaa Aning are set to make their directorial debuts in the upcoming 1265 Films television series Frank, scheduled to begin filming in Texas in Fall 2026.

Both directors will helm one episode each of the highly anticipated procedural drama, which is slated for release in early 2027. Their involvement brings fresh creative voices to the series, which expands the universe of Surviving The Cartel, the globally distributed hit from AMC Networks.

Frank follows the lives of key members of the El Paso Police Department as they confront the challenges of criminal investigations, personal struggles, and moral dilemmas in the line of duty.

Redbear and Aning’s debut marks a significant step forward in 1265 films’s continued effort to spotlight diverse and emerging talent.
