AMC Networks International Latin America acquires Surviving the Cartel

The series will arrive exclusively to Latin America on AMC
Created by Ely Bams, the U.S. series focuses on a story of survival from the perspective of three very different characters: a Silicon Valley executive who returns to Mexico, a former Mexican marine who is determined to enter the United States and an El Paso detective who fights his inner demons. "Where hope is limited, desperate actions are limitless" describes the series, which in its first season presents in a total of five episodes, the despair and tragedies that are experienced day by day in contact with the most powerful drug cartels in the world.

The series stars Francisco Denis (Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan , Narcos ), Gustavo Sánchez Parra (La Muchacha que Limpia ), Vanesa Restrepo (La Muchacha Que Limpia ) and Alina Nastase (The Barrier ). The cast is completed by Jorge Zarate, Gabriel Aguero, Christopher Bustos, among others.
